12:28PM AEST: We experienced issues with our Intercap link again today causing connectivity issues for some Networking and Hosting clients. Before the manual intervention of the network was executed the link was restored to working order. This was caused by the same issue earlier in the week whereby one of our intercapital links went down for 2mins and then returns for 2mins which also known as flapping.
This occurred for approximately 4mins and 21secs disrupting connectivity to parts of our network. We are currently monitoring the connection and liaising with the upstream provider to be briefed on the cause and what can be done to prevent this in the future.
10:30AM: Issues with our Intercap link are causing connectivity issues for some Networking and Hosting clients. We are liaising with our upstream provider to establish the cause of this issue, as well as find out an ETR. As this issue is external to our infrastructure we are waiting on more information to be provided to us.
Upstream network engineers are investigating and further updates will be provided as they come to hand.
11:00AM: Upstream provider has put a fix in place, link has been steady for 5+ minutes. We are monitoring this link and have a work-around plan in place if further issues are encountered.
