Past Incidents

*** Note - Majority of services are connected but will not reconnect due to carrier authentication issues ***

1910 hrs AEDT - Issue has been resolved and services that could not connect are now reconnecting. This was related to the carriers radius server not passing requests onto our servers and affecting sessions trying to authenticate. Sessions that were already connected were not affected.

1845 hrs AEDT - We have had more clients reporting services are down. We are awaiting an update from the carrier. If you have a TransACT legacy connection please contact them to lodge a fault also and notify them that Infinite has an active fault raised.

1622 hrs AEDT - Fault lodged with the carrier and awaiting response, we have been advised that due to the resources we may not have a response until 1900hrs AEDT.

1558 hrs AEDT - We have confirmed this is an authentication issue with the carriers radius servers and not forwarding requests to Infinite's infrastructure. Clients will receive incorrect password error.

1543 hrs AEDT - First reported naked vdsl2 service having authentication issues with password being rejected.

Fixed

2155 AEDT - We have been advised that there was a power outage at site that caused this issue, there is no further information at this time but we have requested a post incident report.

1945 AEDT - Services are restored, we can see no further issues but we still have not had an update for the cause or what was the fix was. Please contact after hours support if you continue to experience a service down.

1903 AEDT - We are starting to see services restoring. We are watching the progress and awaiting more information.

1851 AEDT - Unfortunately we have no update from the upstream carrier or nbn. We are calling every hour, we were last advised that the issue is being worked on but we have had no information regarding an ETR or cause.

1652 AEDT - We have been advised the issue is upstream with the nbn regarding a backhaul link and no updates have been provided by nbn. This is affecting the Civic POI only but we are seeing some services affected on the Queanbeyan POI also.

1645 AEDT - Update for no update, we are chasing the upstream provider for more information. ACT wide fault acknowledged but no ETR.

1555 AEDT - No update or ETR for services, we are continuing to monitor the situation and await an ETR or restoration of services.

1525 AEDT - We have been advised there is a known issue with the upstream carrier and some nbn services in the ACT are degraded. Some services are working correctly but others do not, we do not have an ETR for services to be fixed but we are monitoring the situation and will update this page when more information becomes available.

1510 AEDT - After investigation of the services down there is no identifiable pattern such as location or service type, this appears to be an issue upstream and we are contacting the upstream carrier to report the issue.

1453hrs AEDT - We have observed some nbn services are down but not all, we are investigating the cause. More information to come.
