03:00 AEST 1st August 2026 - We are conducting upgrades to parts of our core network in NextDC C1 for regular patching for security and maintenance purposes. This includes inbound Fibre Ethernet services and core switching affecting most services in this data centre including nbn. There will be a series of reboots required to bring the equipment up to the latest recommended firmware.
2x 20mins for Fibre Ethernet and 2x 15mins between 3am and 5am for other services that rely on core switching at this Data Centre.
This will be monitored over the weekend and if successful similar upgrades will be conducted at the TransACT data centre the next day. If any issues arise please contact the helpdesk at support@infinite.net.au.
03:00 AEST 2nd August 2026 - Continuing on from the previous at NextDC C1, we are conducting upgrades to parts of our core network in TransACT House (Data Centre) for regular patching for security and maintenance purposes. This includes inbound Fibre Ethernet services and core switching affecting most services in this data centre including Vision Network. There will be a series of reboots required to bring the equipment up to the latest recommended firmware.
2x 20mins for Fibre Ethernet and 2x 15mins between 3am and 5am for other services that rely on core switching at this Data Centre.
This will be monitored over the weekend and if successful similar upgrades will be conducted at the NextDC C1 data centre from the previous day. If any issues arise please contact the helpdesk at support@infinite.net.au.
03:15 AEST 2nd August 2026 - We will be conducting an upgrade of our Call Termination Server(s) for security and maintenance purposes. All voice services will be affected at some point as we reconfigure this service for better availability. This should be a simple cut over but we are publishing 3-4x 15min windows over a 2 hour window to ensure this upgrade proceeds.

A VDSL2 site in O'Connor, ACT went offline at 10:38 AEST impacting 25 services in the area due to energy provider outage. Estimated restoration time is currently 17:00 AEST.
TPG technician has fixed the fault. Services are online as of 13:14 AEST.
A VDSL2 site in Duffy ACT went offline at 11:21 AEST impacting some services in the area. TPG technician has been engaged to investigate further. ETA 13:02 AEST

Energy Provider restored power to site. Services have restored as of 11:52 AEST.

Possible localize brownout which cause a brief outage has experienced at O'Connor from 11:48 AEST to 12:09 AEST. Services are now monitored online.

8:08pm AEST 22nd July 2026 - All services restored and IP Transit and Peering back to full strength.
5:00pm AEST 22nd July 2026 - Equipment replaced and begining upgrades and restoring configuration.
4:50pm AEST 21st July 2026 - Replacement equipment recieved at Data Centre.
10:51am AEST 21st July 2026 - Replacement equipment scheduled for shipping.
7:31am AEST 21st July 2026 - Working with Vendor support on diagnosis and alternative solutions.
5:04am AEST 21st July 2026 - Attempts to reboot or recover the equipment has been unsuccesful, we are in the process of working with remote hands at the Sydney DC to determine fault.
12:21am AEST 21st July 2026 - IP Transit and Peering core equipment not responding according to monitoring, access out of band management. GSL IP Transit, Megaport and IX NSW are affected. Vocus, EquinixIX and EdgeIX NSW are all functioning as expected for redundancy.
