Infinite can confirm the service instability affecting parts of the AAPT network is now resolved
As a result, some Infinite nbn and AAPT Fast Fibre Ethernet services would intermittently disconnect or fail to establish stable sessions.
Technical Root Cause from AAPT: A global routing table increase overnight, which resulted in some BGP sessions reaching configured prefix limits within the AAPT Core Network AS2764

Infinite has detected service instability affecting parts of the AAPT network. This ongoing issue is currently impacting a number of services across their infrastructure.
As a result, some Infinite AAPT Fast Fibre Ethernet services may be intermittently disconnecting or failing to establish stable sessions.
Our monitoring systems and internal investigation indicate that this is not isolated to a single region, and appears to be affecting multiple locations across Australia.
We have already escalated the matter to AAPT and are actively engaging with their support and engineering teams to obtain further information and an estimated time of resolution.
At this stage, the issue is under investigation by the upstream providers, and we will continue to provide updates as more information becomes available.
