Infinite Networks Phone support (1300 790 337 / 02 6137 1337)
1:00pm AEST: Resolving outage. Confirmed with TransACT NOC services are working.
11:31am AEST: Services now back up again, we are monitoring this as services appear to work for 10-15mins before going down again.
11:30am AEST: Carrier has advised a card failed last night in a core router in Lyons causing issues. The replacement card was swapped out earlier this morning restoring services but then it is not working as expected. Technicians have collected another replacement and will be back onsite at Lyons to replace the replacement card in the next hour.
A work around to route the traffic has been attempted but not all services have come back up. We have observed VDSL authentication and connectivity between clients is working but connectivity to Infinite out through to the Internet is down.
10:30am AEST: Issue is ongoing, we have been advised of the official unplanned outage in Lyons. There is also subsequent power outage in Hughes, Garran and Curtin which is related. EVO Energy provided an ETR of 1pm AEST. We will continue to request updates for an ETR of services and update this page.
9:45am AEST: Services down again, awaiting an update as to the cause and when it will be fixed.
9:33am AEST: Services now coming online and everything is looking good. If your service is not back online please reboot your modem to regain connectivity.
9:15am AEST: Some progress has been made but we have been advised that the outage is still ongoing. Services are now authenticating but do not have Internet access.
7:50am AEST: TransACT NOC has confirmed there is a wide scale outage in the LYONS network interconnect and ETR is in the next 1-2hours.
7:12am AEST: Contact TransACT NOC and left a message.
6:35am AEST: Outage identified and investigations into what the cause could be. Issue is not related to Infinite Networks. No traffic is received from TransACT authentication servers.
5:29am AEST: All VDSL2 services lost contact with Infinite Networks again.
5:19am AEST: Services restored and working as expected.
1:24am AEST: All VDSL2 services lost contact with Infinite Networks.
7:23am AEST: It is identified that some sites are unavailable via our Canberra transit. This appears to affecting a select amount of sites. We are investigating our network for any issues.
7:37am AEST: This has been localised to Vocus IPv4 Transit out of Canberra. We believe this is related Intercapital Fibre outage and Vocus Canberra services are experiencing issues.
7:50am AEST: Bouncing the ipv4 routing to the Vocus network to see if this assists in restoring the routes.
7:57am AEST: This was not successful so we have remove Vocus IPv4 IP Transit from our network to ensure connectivity works as expected.
8:00am AEST 19th June 2021: Transit enabled and Vocus IPv4 routing reintroduced into the network.
2:41am AEST: Monitoring alerted the NOC that our Victorian Ethernet services are down.
4:35am AEST: Investigations into services being offline as this is an unusual length of time and no planned outages listed.
5:46am AEST: Fault lodged with carrier (Vocus) as no issues inside Infinite's network has been found.
6:48am AEST: Follow up phone call with carrier requesting an update, advised this is being looked into and an engineer will call us back.
8:13am AEST: Services are now restoring, we are monitoring the situation and awaiting a response from the carrier.
