Infinite Networks Phone support (1300 790 337 / 02 6137 1337)
Due to third party planned optical fibre cable cut over in the ACT, due to scale of the works involved it is not possible to isolate the individual services affected. Services that are affected will experience degradation or loss of service during the specified window as works are performed.
In the event your service does not restore on completion of the planned event, please reset your interfacing equipment or link. If your service does not restore after the reset please contact our team to investigate further.
Reason for works :
Transport Canberra are rolling out the Light Rail Network which will deliver a modern transport system. Construction of the Light Rail Network is now underway, with work progressing on the 12 kilometre City to Gungahlin corridor.
The ACT Government has also endorsed a City to Woden corridor as the preferred next stage in the development of the network. As part of this ACT Government initiative, the new route will be travelling down Northbourne Avenue and as a result, a number of fibre cables which services run across will need to be relocated to facilitate the construction.
Our provider is working closely with the Canberra Metro construction team to ensure a smooth transition. It is possible that your service may be interrupted again at a later stage. This is unavoidable due to the complexities of the Fibre Network and Light Rail construction and notification will be provided if required.
More information with regards to the construction of the Light Rail can be found on Transport Canberra website https://www.transport.act.gov.au/light-rail-network
