2315 AEST 7th Sept 2024 - The new fibre cable has been connected, and all affected networking hardware and services have been fully restored. Some customers may need to reboot their Vision Modem and/or equipment to reestablish their connections.
2231 AEST 7th Sept 2024 - We are observing services coming back online. Kindly monitor your connection to confirm if your Internet service has been restored.
2100hrs AEST 7th Sept 2024 - EVO Energy has completed the pole replacement, and the new fibre cable has been installed. Splicing is currently underway, with an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) of 01:30 AEST on 8th Sept 2024.
2000hrs AEST 7th Sept 2024 - We have received an update indicating that, despite extensive efforts over the course of the day, EVO Energy has not yet been able to replace the pole. Fibre crews are on standby, ready to proceed once the pole is replaced. At this time, we are unable to provide an Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) due to the ongoing challenges at the site.
1600hrs AEST 7th Sept 2024 - No updates from Vision Network at this stage but we have requested a status update. If we hear anything we will post it here.
1200hrs AEST 7th Sept 2024 - We have been updated by Vision Network. A fibre cable replacement is currently pending due to a vehicle impact on a high voltage pole. The energy provider needs to replace the pole before the fibre work can proceed. Crews have secured the site, and fibre technicians are ready to begin splicing once the pole replacement is complete. The energy provider and fibre teams are coordinating the work, with the energy provider expected to return shortly to replace the pole. Fibre operations will monitor the situation and commence their work as soon as the site is cleared. The estimated time for full restoration is expected to be later today, once all work is completed. Further updates will be provided as the situation progresses. No Estimated Time of Restoration (ETR) at this point in time but the pole was due to be replaced at 10:30hrs AEST.
1000hrs AEST 7th Sept 2024 - No update from Vision Network.
08300hrs AEST 7th Sept 2024 - Reported officially to Vision Network.
2100hrs AEST 6th Sept 2024 - Power outages in Fisher last night have caused extended issues with the Vision Network equipment in parts of Fisher affecting Weston Creek.
